I bought a program to help me customize my own theme. I love the themes I’ve been using, I’ve just wanted to change my blog more often and have more options. So, I broke down and got the program to do so. So please excuse the mess while i get things back in order.

I read a few blogs that do this on Fridays or other days of the week, and I’m totally stealing it!! So here goes………in random order

1. Mt. Dew

I can’t help it. I try to stay away from the Dew. I wish I could, but there’s nothing like an ice cold mt dew from a can…mmmmm bubbly goodness and a caffeine rush all at once! Ugh, i am sooo addicted!

2. White Tigers

I like tigers in general, but I really like white ones. They are beautiful, regal animals. I’ve never seen one in person, but I’d really like to one day.

3. Vampire Diaries

I ♥ this show! It took a little while for me to warm up to it completely, but I have really been enjoying it. I haven’t read (or listened) to any of the Vampire Diaries books, but I may have to look into them…although, it may ruin the series for me.

4. And while we’re on Vampires…Twilight Saga Books

Guilty pleasure right here. Love, love, ♥ these books! LOVE them! I’ve listened to them probably 5 times each. Watched the Twilight movie at least 20 times and cannot WAIT for New Moon to come out next week!

5. Domo

No clue why, I just love this little monster. RAWR!

6. Christmas @ Walt Disney World

Disney is my most favorite place in the world, other than home, but Christmas at Disney is AWESOME! They really decorate the place up and go all out. It’s beautiful and magical and I wish I was there right now…

7. Fireflies by Owl City

I could totally turn into a electrica music lover over this song! It was a freebie from iTunes one week and I have been itching to buy the whole album. It’s a catchy little song.

8. Fall/Autumn

I love this season of the year! It’s starting to get cooler, the leaves are changing colors…it’s a beautiful thing. I like the crispness of the air, the smell of the leaves.

9. My iPod Classic

I ♥ my iPod!!! I listen to it everyday at work. It’s chocked full of audio books, movies and all my music. ♥!

10. Tulips

Simple. Beautiful. One of the first signs of spring. Need I say more?

So there you have it. 10 things I’m loving today.

Wedding was yesterday! Everything went smoothly, the day was BEAUTIFUL! Here are a few photos:

I haven’t had time to blog…but I have lots to blog about. I’ll get to it soon.

We finally have made a decision about our cat. She’s had 2 more seizures since I last blogged about them.

One was again with the vacuum on and the other was this week.

The one this week was kind of the eye opener one. Like, this isn’t just a fluke thing. I could go into the many reason why we’ve made the decision we have, but I don’t think the excuses or reasons are as important as us realizing that we can’t care for her in the way she needs, and what kind of life is she living here.

So we’ve decided to contact some no-kill shelters and see if they will take her in. If not, then we will probably put her down. Unfortunately.

It’s such a hard decision to make. But we know our limits and this exceeds them. it’s not a money thing, or anything like that. Really, we’ve put so much money and emotional energy into Topaz, so it’s nothing like that. We honestly don’t think she’s living much of a life here…and someone could do better.

She’d be a great cat as the “only” cat and with someone who will care for her seizures.

So, it’s a sad decision for us, but hopefully a good one for her. I hope we can find a rescue to take her in and not have to go through the alternative.

Anyway, that’s where we’re at right now.

The rest will wait.

I don’t want to make a blog for her, but I almost need to at this point. It’s been a little over a month since her last one.

This one was pretty much the same and happened at 5:12pm. Todd was vacuuming at the time…so maybe…stress? I dunno.

I will update here after a while. I have dishes to do…

…yeah, I get border really easily! So I tend to change things up.

Which is ironic because I don’t like change in general. Maybe this is change I can control which is why I like it…and I like to figure it out and tweak.

Anyway…decided to brighten things up a bit and went with this wonderful theme by the lovely Flergs.

Oh, and I renamed the blog…much better…and I made the header super busy! So me.

Overall…blog redesign…total WIN!

Today wasn’t the best of days.

I slipped getting out of the shower on Friday before work and hit my back on the toilet on the way down. OUCH! I had a really sore weekend, but I am so much better now. Thank God. And my husband did a great job taking care of me and dealing with my hurty, crabby ass. Thanks a lot, hun! (heh, I KNOW he reads this!)

THEN…tonight, our poor epileptic puppa, Topaz, has not one but 2 Grand Mal seizures. They were a few hours apart, but both were weird and not the norm…which worries me a bit. We’re gonna keep an eye on him and hope and PRAY he doesn’t have another one anytime soon! Poor P!

So basically, I spent my weekend on some killer pain meds and sleep aids, and just crabby! YEAH…great weekend.

Ugh, it’s back to work tomorrow! At least it’s a pay week and I get to play with some of the money…woo hoo! I already have a little list going.

• External “A” drive (I have a TON of pictures on Floppy disks (I had a Sony Mavica) and need to transfer them to CD…but the PC we have doesn’t even HAVE an “A” drive! LOL)
• Blank CD’s for the pictures!
• USB hub for my desk…too many USB type things, not enough ports!
• Something to hold papers! (So stupid, but good lord, I could use this!)
• New Glasses!

I think I’m forgetting something…but that’s all I can remember right now. It’s written down and in my iPod case.

Also, I want to do some home improvement type things…a gutter for the front of our house, a new storm door on the back…a new towel bar for the bathroom since I pulled the one we have down off the dam wall! LOL

Hopefully nothing comes up between now and then and I can play with some of this money. New things are fun! LOL I need a bit of retail therapy in my life!

I just love those cheesy glitter myspace graphics! …ok back on track!… Happy 4th of July!! I hope everyone is having a great weekend. We don’t have any solid plans for our 4th. We may go see fireworks at my sister’s house tonight, but I am not sure yet. I’d like to take some photos of the ‘works with my new camera. We still have some time to decide. We were going to BBQ burgers, but my husband isn’t feeling well, so I think we may just order from Texas Roadhouse or something. Oooh maybe Chili’s…they have *really* good ribs! hmm…I’ll have to suggest that instead! lol

A quick update on Miss seizure kitty, Beans…so far she’s been doing well. No more seizures as far as we know. She’s actually more friendly now if that is even possible! Maybe she had a near-death experience and it changed her a bit…who knows. But she’s doing good. I really hope it was a fluke thing. So odd though…2 animals who have had seizures. Weird!

Yesterday was the 2nd of many wedding related sweatshops! We addressed, labeled and stamped my sister’s wedding invites. She wasn’t as organized with her addresses and names as my mother liked, so we had to get that in order as we went along. What should have been a couple hour job ended up being 10 hours! Which was fine, I’m not complaining at all. We had a good time…laughed a lot and in the end, it’s done. And we got to see her puppy, Samson! He’s such a cutie! He’s a mastiff mix…and omg he’s gonna be a MONSTER!

I took a lot of pictures, but this is one of my favorites. My dad had come over to drop something off and brought their dog, Mickey…well Mickey and Sam don’t get along really well so he had to take Mickey home and Sam was just sitting at the gate watching my dad and Mickey get back into the car. It was really cute.

Time to go discuss dinner plans with the hubbs…before I go, let me share a funny video! It is is HILAROUS! I haven’t ever seen it before. I swear, this could be any one of our boys…especially Malcolm and Alex! Enjoy!

Anyway…I think I finally have the blog the way I want it!! I’ve been working on it pretty hard for the past couple days. I couldn’t seem to get the titles to go bye bye on the sidebar…but after much googling and trial and error, I finally got it. Then I plugged all my little graphics in and viola! Blog is all pretty and finished!

And how cute is the little pear RRS icon thingie?? LOL I am obsessed, I know!

I actually need to do the dishes and clean the house because tomorrow my mom is coming over to work on shower invites for my other sister who’s getting married in September. We have to design and then print them. I’m trying to talk her into using a scrappy kit because Lord knows I have a mess of them, but we’ll see. My mom has some vision of how she wants the invites to be. I wish she’d share them with me.

I wanted to post a little something to test out everything and make sure it’s working right before I throw the towels in the dryer, turn the Twilight Soundtrack on the iPod and start the dishes.
